Meet The Team

Romey Chopra is a qualified pharmacist with a degree from the University of Leicester and a master’s from the University of Nottingham, graduating in 1990. With over 30 years of experience spanning the pharmaceutical industry, hospital, and retail sectors, Romey has dedicated his career to improving health and wellbeing in a variety of settings.

In 2007, Romey expanded his commitment to care by acquiring a dementia care home in Cumbria, which continues to operate successfully today. Between 2013 and 2016, he also co-founded About Face, an aesthetics brand in India, bringing together medical expertise and innovation in skincare.

Alongside his healthcare ventures, Romey is the Director of Chopra Property Group, an award-winning property development company recognised for its quality, vision, and community focus.

Romey’s philosophy is simple yet powerful: health is wealth. He believes that too often we take our health for granted, reacting only when problems arise rather than taking proactive steps toward wellness. This belief inspired the creation of The DNA Henley Clinic, a concept designed to empower people to take control of their health through a more informed, preventative, and personalised approach to wellbeing.

Fun Fact: Romey has been happily married for 30 years and is a proud father of two wonderful children, both set to graduate as doctors next year. Outside of work, you’ll often find him on the badminton court or out cycling.

If you can’t find him, he’s most likely indulging his passion for exceptional whiskey and high-performance cars. He brings the same energy and enthusiasm to everything he does.

Shashi has been practising sedation techniques in dentistry for the past 15 years in dental clinics. He also has a special interest in oral surgery and implantology (GDC no: 67491).
Dr Chopra qualified from the Royal London Hospital in 1991. He has extensive experience in providing general dental services over the past 15 years, with his main interests being oral surgery and implants. He has also held senior posts in sedation-performed dentistry for the past 20 years, as well as having had hospital-based jobs.
He has a postgraduate qualification in teaching and has been involved with foundation teaching of both dentists and therapists for 15 years. He has recently achieved a postgraduate qualification in orthodontics and undertakes fixed orthodontics on adults.

Jade began her journey in 2015 as a trainee dental nurse, and it didn’t take long for her to discover a passion for the field. After qualifying, she developed a keen interest in Implants and specialist treatments, which led her to work closely with highly skilled clinicians across various practices.

Recognised for her natural leadership skills and dedication, Jade quickly progressed into a management role and has now accumulated over five years of experience as a successful Practice Manager. Her love for learning and professional development continues to drive her, she’s currently training to become a qualified IV Nurse and is always looking to add new skills to her ever-growing list of qualifications.

Jade’s enthusiasm for facial aesthetics and wellness is at the heart of everything she does, and she’s passionate about creating a welcoming, high-end experience for every patient who walks through the door.

Fun fact: Before dentistry, Jade spent nearly 12 years in performing arts, a career that brought her into contact with some famous faces, meaning she’s always got a good story to tell.

When she’s not managing the clinic or expanding her skill set, Jade enjoys learning Arabic, dining out, travelling, and spending quality time with her family and friends. She’s also busy planning her wedding, set for 2026!

Originally from Mid Wales and now based in Twyford, Carys graduated from Cardiff University with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery (Honours). During her time at university, she served as Senior Women’s Captain of the Rowing Club and as an Acting Pilot Officer in the senior leadership team of the Universities of Wales Air Squadron — experiences that strengthened her leadership, teamwork, and discipline.

She completed her foundation training on the Winchester Scheme, where she gained extensive experience in general and restorative dentistry. During this time, she presented clinical case reports and took part in a range of professional development activities that helped refine her clinical and communication skills.

Carys works as an Associate Dentist and trains full-time with Leander Club, combining her passion for high-performance rowing with her dental career. Her professional interests include restorative dentistry and facial aesthetics.

This year, she is further enhancing her clinical expertise through advanced training in clear aligner therapy, facial aesthetics, and foundational implant dentistry. Carys is passionate about combining clinical excellence with patient-centred care, continually developing my skills to provide the highest standard of treatment.

With over seven years of clinical experience, Joanna brings together a strong dental foundation and a passion for aesthetic enhancement. A fully qualified Facial Aesthetics Practitioner, Joanna offers a range of bespoke, non-surgical treatments designed to refresh and refine natural beauty.

Her expertise includes anti-wrinkle injections, dermal fillers, skin boosters, and vitamin therapy. Known for her calm professionalism and warm, personable manner, Joanna ensures every client feels confident, comfortable, and cared for throughout their treatment journey.

Alongside her aesthetics work, she continues to provide locum dental nursing support across Berkshire and Oxfordshire, regularly assisting over ten private and NHS practices. Her background in dentistry underpins her meticulous attention to detail, clinical safety, and commitment to the highest standards of care.

Fun Fact: Joanna is fluent in English and Polish. When she’s not in the clinic, you’ll often find Joanna exploring new destinations and discovering different cultures to inspire her creativity and give a fresh perspective on beauty and wellbeing.

Dr. Baiarda has been a General Practitioner for nearly 24 years. He studied medicine in Newcastle Upon Tyne and qualified in 1995.

He embarked on a Paediatric rotation in the North East before embarking on General Practice training in Stratford-upon-Avon in 1999. Then, He became an NHS GP Partner immediately on finishing training in 2000.
He studied for the Post Graduate Diploma of Practical Dermatology in 2008, and has worked as a Primary Care Dermatologist in the NHS since 2011. He holds double Master’s Degrees in Paediatrics and English Literature, and has published articles in UK magazines and the press. He has appeared many times on National TV and radio.

Fun fact: Gero lives in Henley-on-Thames with his wife, Amanda, and their four children. He is a talented artist and works to a high standard in pencil, watercolour and oils.
